History

Plentysmart.com was started in July, 2005.

The site was conceived and created by Ian Compton, a computer networking professional from Brooklyn, NY.

All work, including technical creative and promotional work, has been performed by Ian.

The first quiz created was the NY Subway quiz for New Yorkers. Ian had the idea while riding on the subway between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The subway quiz was originally designed to promote a previous computer business and was launched in June.The response to the quiz was strong but very few people taking it were interested in computer work. Ian soon had the idea for a quiz-only site and started Plentysmart the next month.

The first quiz to get widely noticed was the Google quiz, in August 2005.

The most popular quiz is currently the Google quiz. The average score is currently just over 9 out of 15.

The second most popular quiz is the New York City subway quiz for New Yorkers. The average is currently over 11 out of 15.

The third most popular quiz is the Rapper Names quiz. The average is currently a little over 8 out of 15.

In the first month of operation, over4,000 total quizzes have been taken.

In the first month of operation, nearly 20,000 pages have been served.

There are currently 58 quizzes available on the site.

Plentysmart has been mentioned on web sites based in North America, China, Europe, Malaysia, Russia, Samoa, and Saudi Arabia.
