Welcome to plentysmart's iPod / iTunes quiz.

Learning about new technologies and markets is what makes this fun for me ... We didn't know anything about MP3 players, but our people looked at what was out there with a critical eye and combined that with what we already knew about design, user interface, materials and digital electronics. That gave us the iPod. You just gotta go learn this stuff. If you're smart, you'll figure it out.

Section 1 Five questions. Choose the correct answer.

1. How can you perform a reset on your iPod in order to fix various problems? (You may lose settings, but not music or photos, etc.)

Simultaneously hold down the Back and Select buttons.
Toggle the Hold button three times while holding down the Select button.
Choose "Reset iPod" from the iPod "Settings" menu.
Choose "Reset iPod" from the iPod "Extras" menu.
Choose "Reset iPod" from the iTunes "Advanced" menu.

2. If your iPod won't mount on your PC even though it is connected, how can you force it into Disk Mode?

Choose "Shuffle Songs" from the main menu.
You need iTunes to create a playlist.

13. How can you create a playlist which varies based on parameters that you define?

Create a new playlist from the iTunes File menu and manually add the desired songs.
Create a new playlist from the iTunes File menu and click on the "Advanced" button.
Create a new playlist from the iTunes File menu and click on the "Playlist Wizard" button.
Create a new smart playlist from the iTunes File menu and set desired parameters.

Choose "Backlight Timer" in Settings and turn it off. You will not be able to use the light.
